Dot Journal for the Remarkable 2!

The Dot Journal for the Remarkable 2 gives you the perfect combination of freedom, creativity, structure and productivity. The Journal is designed so you can make it whatever you want it to be, whilst being extremely easy and fast to navigate.

[Update, we’ve now added a dark theme Dot Journal for the remarkable 2. You can use your white pen option (which looks great) – see picture further down].

Here are six features we think you’ll love:

1. More dots and a little darker than the remarkable 2 dot template.

We found that the inbuilt template for dots was a little light and unless the light was optimal, seeing the dots was quite difficult. We’ve also added more dots per page. 29 horizontal and 39 vertical dots. Or the other way around if you use it in landscape mode.

2. We’ve added navigation links.

With a traditional notebook you can easily flick through the pages to jump to where you want to go. With the Remarkable 2 it’s a bit harder, so we’ve added navigation links. If you look real close in the bottom right corner, we have a light P (which links you to the page number options) and a light I (which takes you to your index). Now just like a bullet journal, you make up your own index as you go so you know where you’ve recorded what in your journal. We’ve not even added the title index, so you can be as fancy or as fast as you like with that. Either way, each time you press on the ‘I’ it will take you to that page. The navigation links mean you can so quickly go from one area of your journal to another!

3. To help with dividing up your page (if you want to) we’ve added two pages with a grid guide.

4. The PDF is 160 pages long and you can download as many times as you like for new notebooks.

Pages 2 and 3 are the grid guides and page 7 is for the page navigation …. so you really have 158 pages to play with each time you download a fresh copy of the PDF.
The Index link is linked to page 5 and so we recommend you use page 1 for a title, page 2 and 3 as a reference, page 4 for a ‘key’, page 5 and 6 for an index and then pages 8-160 to do whatever you like. Maybe a habit tracker, future, monthly, weekly logs (like a bujo – bullet journal) or just more of a regular journal that you can easily keep track of the contents and navigate quickly.
